CHANGING FROM 250W CFL TO 400W HPS?

planning on swapping out the cfls for the hps, in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 6 foot tent, and its about 45 days into flowering looks like it will go 2-3 more weeks easily, strain is amsterdam skunk from ceres seeds or john sinclair ( unsure wich of these 2 are the actual breeder) took a test smoke on week 3 and quick dried in the microwave.
it was extremely surprising for such an early peice of hërb , taste was very skunky and sweet slightly fuely very tasty!!
ive always tried a test smoke on my plants at early stages like in week 5+ wen i am out of herb but they have always tasted like dried leaves or just plain gross tasting , not like weed at all..that is what surprised me was the flavor of these unripe buds,anyway what im wanting to ask is, WOULD IT HURT HER TO PUT UNDER 400W HPS LIKE COULD SHE GET STRESSED,? OR WOULD IT POTENTIALLY HELP MY YIELD , RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE 3 ZIPS TOPS, BUT REALLY GOOD QUALITY AND CRYSTALLY STUFF!

No it won't hurt, infact they'll love it. Just don't start with the light too close...

Whats your temp in the tent the 400w hps is gonna bring a lot of heat so it could hurt more than help if you can't control temp

WELL its COLD AF atm like min temps past week have gotten to 12 degrees lights off and max 20-22 lights on. lastnight was very cold at 7c and run my lights at night since its cold, pretty sure she got down to 15 degrees lastnight , pretty cold for her i know

ambient daytime temp average of 20c so when lights off doesnt get too cold since there off during the day

sorry just smoked a bowl that didnt make much sense lol. i have 2x 6 inch exhaust fans, just the cheapo type from ebay, also a 4 inch centrifugal fan with a carbon filter i could use, also i have a air cooled hood with 6 inch holes, that goes with my 400w hps that ive never used yet, bought in summer and was too hot for it lol

Temps are ok just put the light high as you can when you first add it and drop it down gradually as your plants get use to the new light but you should be ok more light more bud

really think the hps would make much difference to bud size putting it in at day 46 into flower?might i add this girl had vigorous preflowers under 18/6 in veg, (the preflowers were like the size of buds of a 3 week old flower), i didnt know what was going on so i just flipped her and let her do her thing lol

Not to much a difference but it will add some density to the buds they bulk up the last 2 weeks ...whatever you don't get right this grow correct it the next just keep growing and perfecting your craft

Also your plants look hungry what's your nutrient lineup and how much are you feeding

this is her at 1.5-2 months old in dwc bucket from seed just before flip, was on 18/6. i am using general hydroponics flora trio, using the lucas formula at 500ppm with m cheapo ebay metre, about 5ml micro to 10m bloom per gallon or slighlty less since my lights arnt very intense (250w of cfl -.-)

she only just started to yellow up a bit she was super green, almost thought i had nitrogen toxicity for a while lol, and i thought a bit of yellowing this part of flowering was fairly normal? or should i just up my ppm a little
EDIT: that was with just 130w cfl from ebay with a batwing reflector, other plant in there with big leaves is a master kush from nirvana, and the small purple pot is a clone from a mr nice seeds black widow that my rabbit decided to eat and leave me a tiny peice, barely big enough to clone, but it pulled through and is looking good now

okaay thanks =) might be a deficeny idek, last 2 weeks she showed red/purple leaf stems, that she has never had before, and a couple streaks here and there on some of the main branch stems, under leaf stems also purpley /red, might be the cold temps?

Yea maybe the cold temps stressed her...when it's cold they don't drink as much and try 6/9 with Lucas formula
