changing light cycle?

Hi there thank you for reading post.

Ill get to it i wanted to know if i could chane my 18/6 light cycle. still keep it in 18/6 due to semi middle of veg, just change it to a diffirent time period. like know my light turns on at 12am turns of 6 pm and so forth. so will changing this to start and end at diffirent times hurt the plant?

i was told you can if you do it gradually like change a hour a day but i think it will stress it a bit but if its big enough it should be ok
 
This is definately something you have to think out before growing. If its not too drastic you could do it over several days. I think it would be easier on the plant if you just did 20/4 for a few days or even 24/7, then switch.
 
Probably bad on my part but i did it. plants didnt really grow for a day or 2 but the bounced right back. I did water them around the same time i was watering them before the change, for those 2 days and a few days after. maybe thats why ?
 
I have never done this my self but i would advise on keeping the lights to the scedule that you are on now.The only time that i would change my lighting is when its time to flower.Little things like this can cause the plants to go hermi on you i wouldn't advise it bro.
