If I leave my lights on for an extra 8 hours but really low so I can reset my light cycle, will I accidently cause my plants to flower?
I’m not a seasoned grower by any means but I believe as long as it’s Photo it only goes to flower when you change schedule to 12/12. Others here may have more insight though....If I leave my lights on for an extra 8 hours but really low so I can reset my light cycle, will I accidently cause my plants to flower?
You can just give it a short day of light rather than leave the light on. And set your timer right before lights out to reflect 12/12If I leave my lights on for an extra 8 hours but really low so I can reset my light cycle, will I accidently cause my plants to flower?
I think he's still in veg, at least, that's what I take from his initial post:What stage of flower are you in?
but this sounds differentlywill I accidently cause my plants to flower?
what you should do is to increase the irradiance by the same percentage as your reduction in light-on times. To arrive at the same amount of released light particles.have just realised my plants have came down from 12/12 to 18/6 for about 2 weeks now , gradually, in my wisdom I assumed more light after flowering has been going a good 3-4 weeks would equal bigger buds!!
I’m into a bout week 4 of flowering. I have now put the timers back to 12/12 and things are looking ok at the minute, but probably ruined this crop of 4 plants... a well! Everyday is a school day.... thanks for your reply, much appreciated. What stage of flower are you in? From my understanding, less than 12 hrs of dark could make the plant hermie, or switch back to Veg.
