Changing my grow set up. Need help.

I currently have a sunlight sheds cool cab and thought that getting the LED upgrade was a good idea. Since i have had it i have learned otherwise. i am going to change the lighting setup and try again and will hopefully have better results. Does anyone know what would be the best ballast. Quantum, lumatek, or nextgen. Should i go with a 600 watt or 400 watt setup with this cab. I am going to use hortilux bulbs but i cant find a 600 watt MH bulb in this brand, do they not make a 600W MH?

I have 6 lumateck's, and 2 nextgen....all 600's....I believe the nextgen is better than the lumatecks. My .02

What brand bulbs do you use?

I've read on hortilux's home site that they are not rec. for digital ballest so I'm doing away with them as we speak, one by one as they age. I'm replace'n them with lumateck's bulbs.

Did they say why? Did the ones you had work ok?

...o'yeah, the hortilux worked just fine...this was just something I read on hortilux home site....I have used them with magnetic and digital ballest both, no problems. I believe I seen on the box also, something about a compatibility difference, idk. All and all, they will still work just fine.

I have a lumatek, works great. Ive also heard great things about the nextgen; they're both similar priced I believe so get the one that's cheaper.

they have since fixed the probs w the hortilux bulb with a digital ballest prob. Ive been running galaxys since they came out and have had no probs. I started using grow bright bulbs...very bright!!
