Changing Production Site after receipt of interim licence

Does anyone know what's involved in changing your production site after receipt of an interim licence? Obviously a new site inspection would be required, but if you weren't changing any of the people in the security clearance roles, could you simply shift over to the new location once it was approved or would you have to apply all over again?

Any idea on timeline?

Many thanks!

Considering that security and quality assurance are both very much site-specific, I would think that there would be more involved than just changing your address. There will be many specific details which will have to be catered to the new site. I am pretty sure you would need an entirely new application.

I would have to say there would be a lot of paper work involved. i also don't think it would look very good to HC. It's a different building, you have proven you can meet the requirements at a previous location, but obviously the building is not the same, so the requirements would have to be adjusted to suit the new location...unless you have a huge issue or have to move for sure, i wouldn't bother.

The answer to Agrancan's question will definitely help.
If you absolutely must lose the first facility, it could be worse. If you could keep it, you could probably file for an expansion of facility and then slowly migrate to the new facility and kill the old one off entirely.

If all you have is an LOI from the government letting you start your build, you may have huge issues.
It's a very, very dangerous part of the process to make a change in. I know of an LOI who changed one of their RPIC at this stage and got their application put back in the pile and were told to stop their build. Considering how much of the application is tied to the location, you're in hot hot water.

That said, if you've already established your facility and have it inspected it should be much easier to expand as I noted originally - they have conditions for that in place that shouldn't send you back to the pile in any way.
