Now every time you even get the slightest urge, just think, I went 5 fecking weeks, hell no, and so on as time progresses. I want a drink 3yrs and cig 7yrs every fecking day, but hell no. I've gone too far to drop back now. You can do it bro. Weed is all we need.

Stop taking that NOW FDD. My sister works in a clinic she has been telling me how fucked up that drug is, there was some issues regarding its getting approved through the FDA. Cigs are so fucking gross, my chick used to NEED one after a bong rip, she said it would make the bong rip so mch better. Life is so much better dude

I had to ask, because I've considered Chantix (or our equivalent) but then read the negative press and decided against it.
I guess you never know unless you try. I just have this fear of *all* my receptors shutting down, not just the nicotine ones. I suffer depression as it is, so it may be a bad idea for me.

so you only did 1 month of chantix? i'm halfway thru my second month. wondering how much longer i should take them. i think at this point it's all over.

awesome to here your success at quitting smoking cigarettes.......I quit about 4 years ago and it is awesome..........took me like 3 years of trying to quit before I finally got over it...now it's been along time and I never have the urge to smoke...and I used to love smoking.........CONGRATULATIONS...FDD......

Mmm. I've vowed that I'll never be addicted to cigarettes. Both of my parents used to smoke, my sister and her husband smoked, and now they've all quit. I only smoked cigs when out with friends, but that's done, too.
So, cigarettes are out of the question. But, man, do I love pipe tobacco.
There aren't many female pipe tobacco users, so I always get weird looks when I'm smoking. But the best way is to toke up and then just sit in the park with a pipe full of legal substance and chill. There's nothing the cops can do about it. It's beautiful.
