I've seen a couple of my friends rub chap stick on blunts. To make them "bun slower". I personally thnk it's gross & watching the blunt get all greasy & the chap stick start to boil is not cool. Weird right?:cuss:

Wtf? Thats one of the shitties ideas I've heard. Just do like normal people and wet the joint. Why would they wanna be smoking burned chap stick?

That's what I said. I took two hits then I said no more man such a horrible taste. I was kinda mad at them & told them to learn how to roll slow burners but they got all mad back. Whatevers. I'm not the 1 smoking all those chemicals.

Stoners can be retarded sometimes... I've heard of putting codeine cough syrup on joints/blunts before, but never chapstick. That's just ... ugh, I don't even wanna think about it.

Wouldn't it just make the joint harsher? I'm not a big fan of putting ANYTHING on my weed and whatever else I smoke. Too much contaiminated food and bad chemicals to be just adding crap to my weed. When I smoke it's 100% weed or nothing at all.

Apparently the stuff in Chap stick is toxic.... Here's what I found. "There are three main active ingredients in the stronger lip balms--Camphor, Menthol, and Phenol. Camphor and Menthol are basically harmless, but Phenol is a skin irritant. Phenol is put in the medication to help irritate and remove the old, dry skin found on very chapped lips."

Found more stuff, take it for what it's worth....Not surprisingly ChapStick Classic Lip Balm scores in 8 of 12 toxic parameters. Chapstick lip balm contains one carcinogen - Saccharin. Definitely NOT the kind of chemical you want to be using on your lips!

Cancer Linkage

This product also contains one other toxic ingredient -
PETROLATUM- that has been linked to breast cancer and other health concerns. See below for more information on Petrolatum.

Penetration Enhancers

Also present is a penetration enhancer -
Padimate O. This agent works to infiltrate the lip/skin membrane - i.e. penetration enhancer - and in doing so increase exposures to the carcinogen listed above.

Untested Chemicals

Chapstick lip balm contains 11 chemicals that have not been assessed for safety in cosmetic formulas by the C.I.R. These chemicals are:
Saccharin, MINERAL OIL, Camphor, White Wax, Saccharin, Flavors, Carnuba Wax, Arachadyl Propionate, 2-octyldodecanol, Polyphenylmethylsiloxane 556, Wax Paraffin, D&C Red #6 Barium Lake

Petrolatum

The biggest controversy in the lip balm world is manufacturers using petroleum derivatives in their products. However this is not a new thing, this practice has been going on for decades.

The recent move by the EU to outlaw petroleum in lip balm has added fuel to the debate. From a common sense perspective the risks of putting petroleum on your lips is not rocket science.

Petrolatum, the ingredient used in Chapstick lip balm has been linked to breast cancer. In spite of this ChapStick does not warn their customers in any of their literature. This also applies to Wyeth on their website.

yeah that is mega gross. They hear all these stupid fables & they believe them. I don't get why they just don't buy a god damn pipe if they can't roll. That's scary I didn't know chapstick was so toxic

Thats just fucked up, baptise it if needed but learning to roll might help. I suck at rolling blunts specifically though they burn, smoke and go slow so.... idk thats just ruining a good blunt.

I've done the tussinex thing... it's cough syrup with liquid hydrocodone in it. Made it taste weird and I ended up throwing up as a result.

IDK what you guys are talking about. Every time I roll a joint I always start by emptying out and entire tube of chapstick and spreading it over the paper. (When my friends and I really wanna get fucked up, we add bread... that shit's ridiculous)

Thats disgusting. Pack them a bowl of chapstick and tell them to rip away and see how much they like it. I have heard of honey, but never chapstick. Thats nastey
