Charlie flyin over

It's that time of year! (at least in my neck of the woods) The boys in blue are out in their chopper toys, flyin around, tryin to rid our little area of dangerous marijuana growers. our tax dollars at work. not that much of a worry, as they are prob. looking for meth labs in this area, but i always take notice. every year, between oct. and dec., the helicopters fly over (repeatedly, fourth round in 1/2 hr. as i type) with that neat red indicator light. just curious how common this is around the rest of the country? anyone notice, or have any problems with this where you are at?

We have that here too, they fly along the main housing areas, going slow. I agree with #1Accordfamily; that a few CFL's probably are not enough to warrent more attention, however do not forget about heatsoak. Heat can build up in your grown room and cause it to have a high heat signature if the lights have been on all day, even if they are off at that point in time.
Lets remember to stay stealthy out there, keep ya head down mon!

LOUNGE; *thuth* *thuth* *thuth* "Go away charlie!"

La, right next to the gulf. as stated, i think it is more or less looking for heat from meth labs. i just moved out to the country, and for some reason the rednecks love that meth. at least three labs busted in a month within twenty miles of my house, one was a cop! so they prob. fly over all through the year. they have allready stopped at my old residence about 25 miles away.

love that pic btw fdd, have already read the original thread you posted that in, and i must say, i am jealous of the freedoms you californians have. plan on a large outdoor guerilla grow next year, but would love to do it out in the garden w/o any stress of the popo.
