Charlotte and HB 1380

Im near charlotte and me all my coworkers and alot of my friend are wondering. Who do we need to try to convince to get this bill to pass? I would think sue myrick but she doesnt have anything about hb 1380 on her website.

House Bill 1380, an act to exempt qualified medical cannabis patients from state arrest and prosecution, has been referred to the Committee on Health. Committee members will hear testimony in favor of this legislation on Thursday, June 18 at noon in room 544.

I'm sure NC will be one of the last states to pass a medical marijuana bill. It is one of the largest tobacco producers on the east coast if not the largest. It's going to take something more than a petition...i dont care how many people sign it.

Dont you think the tobacco companies could profit from this in some way?
