Im looking for a decently cheap cloner if anyone has any suggestions that have worked for them. Thanks!
Said the guy with more dollars than sense! What was described was a DIY Bubble cloner (there's a full tutorial in the DIY sub-forum), they are about as complicated as un-wrapping a McDonald's hamburger. The whole process of growing cannabis is, basically, a DIY endeavor - you've got to get with the program at some point.Would more like to buy one online. Dont want to fuss with buying all the stuff and building it
In order to build a DIY cloner it would cost at least 40 dollars. It is a much better investment to spend 60 on a king cloner and saving all the time and effort to build the cloner.Said the guy with more dollars than sense! But then again; it's your money - go ahead and spend it!
So what brand of a pump would you recommend? The pump is just about the whole price if the sytstem. I rather have a brand that is known to run good then somthing no one has ever heard of. Sometimes there's a diamond in the rough. I just believe in everything diy is cheapest and build to your needs. After that you get what you pay for.
Ill likely find a tote or something that can fit around 30 or sowhat size cloner do you want? I use a Rubbermaid roughneck 18 gallon tote. I use about 4 gallons of nutrient solution with 8-10 misters. 12 site because I use 3 inch net pots and neoprene collars from start to finish. I use an active aqua 400 gph pump which costs me 24 dollars at local hydro store and also guarantee them for 3 years.
Gotcha. Thanks a lot manYou could probably get that many out of the same tote with smaller wholes and neoprene sleeves with no net pots.
