Cheap D.I.Y Hempy Bucket/Soil Automatic Watering System

Hey so do you guys think this can be used with regular soil in 5 gal pots, and what are the hempy buckets.

I'll be taking parts of this when building my E&F system, when I did it the first time I didn't have a job and I did it manual, now that I'm working I'll need to have it automated, nice work.

EDIT: I just saw the date lol, just google hempy system, and why do you need to automate soil grows?
