I've been growing for sometime now. I've tried many Chemical, and Organic Nutrients, both in Soil, and Hydro.
-General Hydroponics Floral Series, and The Flora Nova Series
Then I went to
-Botanicare Line of Nutrients because they were Organic. But the bad thing about these nutrients were there low N-P-K
Then I went to
-Fox Farm. bought the whole Series of there Nutrients. Very high N-P-K I wanted yield when I bought this line.
-What I use now-
Fox Farm, Happy Frog-Ocean Forest Potting Soil (This soil has enough nutrients to feed your seedling for 2-3 weeks)
Dried Blood. (I use this mostly in the Veg. 1-tbsp per plant every 3-4 weeks)
Triple Phosphate (I use this only in the Flower 1/2-tsp per plant every 3-4 weeks)
What I found out was I get the same results using dried blood and triple phosphate,
as I was getting with the Fox Farm nutrients that cost a little over $200.00 for the whole line.
Its a Hell of a lot cheaper, and a lot easier, because I don't have to mix nutrients all the time.
----------------
I do have 2,200 watts of lights all cool tubes with a blower in the flower, and flower room is air-conditioned. @ 60's-F lights off @ 70's-F lights on.
I also spray my plants with water once per day top/bottom leafs. I have spider mites, but the low temps because of the A/C
and Spraying them with water keeps them under control.
---------------
I found out that using for example az-max or any other chemical to control the Spider Mites in the flower
isn't good. Because when you spray these chemicals on your buds that chemical stays there. The bud grows around it and traps the chemical residue.
You just can't wash it off, like you can with a Vegetable.
I'm an older Stoner I could give a shit less about smoking some Chemical residue, But it makes your buds taste funny.
-------------
Whats works good for you, and me might not work good for another person.
This is my personal experience, and I hope it helps.
