well its been a little bet since i've posted, and changed my nute from house and garden to advanced nutes carboload gets it every feeding. also found out one of my plants was male so im down to four but i got my Ph right and some new ducking so i hope it gets bettr from here o also their on 12/12 messagepart.jpgmessagepart.jpg

yeah thats what i thought fat one was kinda having slow growth but had a great root sysem i cant wait to se how shes ganna do th next few days

Healthy roots with stunted growth , i find is normally caused by your plants being to cold or a Ph issue of some kind...

yeah i got my 3 way meter today found out my ph was 7, dropped it back to 6.3 6.2 my night time tmps are around 64 60

Why don't you just veg 24/0 ?
then the lights won't be off and temp will stabilize ?

I no people say 18/6 blah blah , save power etc , i veg 24/0 because it promotes more vigorous growth,
You do not save on power as you need to veg for longer so it cancels out,

makes sense to me.
And you would not need heater running.

wll 24 promotes more male plants bplus they need a chance to rest. but i just wanted to try something new found out i got 3 girls waiting for the the last to show sex.messagepart i.jpgmessagepart.jpg

Excuse my french,
The sex of a Marijuana seed is decided well before the seed germinates , nothing to do with light periods fgs,
Varied lighting regimes on flowering plants can stress them and cause them to Herm.
Dont believe everything you read.

i dont know when you have your lights on.. but having them on at night helps with the cold, and off during the day fights the heat of the day...

also they make a thermostat that you can plug into an outlet... and plug your space heater in that programmable thermostat... it'll turn your heat on when you want it to... heat to a certain temp and then shuts it off for you... i've found the built in thermo controls on those space heaters are not consistant

You know as much as I used to believe that, since I've switched to 12/12 from seed I've had 7/8 females which is the best ratio I've ever had with normal seeds. The last grow I did 24/0 from seed was 12 years ago. 14 plants and 13 males. Makes me wonder!

He is talking about veg times , 24/0 or 18/6 ,
what you are doing is completely different.

can't be serious...u must small light mayb if you choose 24/0 over 18/6!!... saves hundreds on the elect bill with no difference...proven time after time... lmao do w/e though

How are you saving money when your 18/6 plants will take longer to veg than mine ? in the long run your saving f*** all,
The amount you save on 4 hours is peanuts,
I do not use CFL's no, only in propagation.

I can prove that plants on a 24/0 veg cycle grow more vigorously than on an 18/6 cycle.
And before you say , the roots need the rest , it's a myth.

Plants still grow when they are in the dark... even notice heavier nute intake on the off cycle... people have done side by side comparisions and have chose 18/6 time after time... to each their own though
