Yellow leaves will be seen quite early once the flip, why no N during flower?

I would move the big Bud to flower, late in flower it's of no use.

I use 1:1:1 Grow:Micro:Bloom throughout all phases, plants end as green as the started.

How much n should I use in flower. I don't start the atami and big bud till week 4 of flower. You use 1,1,1. Please explain. I wouldn't mind cutting out atami cause its very expensive. I just want beautiful green plants from start to finish. I assume if plants are healthy and green that the buds will be at their maximum potential also.

Well N in flower is a personal preference thing, I like to see my plants green and healthy (Not waxy) looking at harvest. Some like the grow room to mimic outdoor seasons and like to see orange, yellow, and red hues when nearing harvest.

I use 50L reservoirs and start off with the following BASE nutrients
- 175ml each of Grow, Micro, and bloom
- 75ml Cal-Mag
I use three of these with small differences for my 4 stages of growth, once I have rooted clones they travel on the following path to glory :weed::

Week 1 - 2, veg -> base nutrients + B52 + voodoo juice
week 3 - 4, veg -> base nutrients + B52, A clone or two is harvested
week 4 - 6, flower -> base nutrients + voodoo juice + B52 + Big Bud
week 6 - 8, flower -> base nutrients + Overdrive
Week 9, harvest sometime this week, just plain non pH'd water

I usually have about 15 - 20 plants in each stage, and as shown above I do bi-weekly reservoir changes and harvest roughly every month. I ry to keep at least 5 strains going and right now am dealing with seven, soon to be six because Barney's Vanilla Kush is going to be culled because the pheno I have is more like a 10 - 12 week finisher and there is no room or time for that. :?

So u put 175ml of g/m/b in 12.5 gal of water. How're ur plants not burnt to a crisp. I was thinking more like 1/4/10 per gal. That's like 15ml per gallon of each. Interesting.

Out of the tap my water is about 70 PPM or 0.1 EC, I fill my 50L main reservoir and use 35mL of pH-Down with 175mL G/M/B and 75mL Cal-Mag to get to pH 5.5 - 5.6 and EC 1.2 - 1.4 (approximately 850 - 1000 PPM), I try to be consistent but it really all depends on how much I have smoked on rez change day :-P

I have used this formula now for over 17 harvests and MOST of the strains I grow are able to handily accept this level even my small rooted clones, I don't change my base and only change the 'bloom' additives bi-weekly as I posted above. My rooted clones absolutely love the base there in, with B52 and voodoo they take off in about three days and in 7 - 10 days ready to give back from where they came ;)

Most users around like to cut off N as soon as 12/12 starts, I have not seen the dreaded flower production decrease since keeping my N levels constant. I have used the G/M/B for years adopting the standard 3 cycle 3:2:1, 2:2:2, 1:2:3 and mixing and matching ratios/

I use to keep the big mothers around to clone from and my room looked like it was waiting for the keibler elves to show up, all that I have gone away from and now I keep no mothers; and I'm happy to say I am in the grow room for only about 6 hours a month (3 hours bi-weekly) not including trimming.

Hell yeah if that works then that's what's up. Would that cause me to run through my nutrients a lot faster. Its crazy how there are so many different schedules for feeding with the flora series. GH website says the base concoction should be 1/4/8 for flower. Lucas says 0/8/16, and there r many others like u who have developed their own schedule, and most of the time they all will produce good buds. I just wish I knew which GH schedule would give me the maximum results that GH intends growers to have. Basically I want to get the most out of their product without being wasteful.

Would I see a difference in my ladies if I quit using big bud and atami and just got my 3 part down pat. Are these expensive boosters really needed (aka snake oils). Basically would my buds be just as plump and tasty with only the 3 part.
