Check Out My Lady

What kind of lighting did you use to veg the plants?

Fluorescents seem to keep things small and bushy.. the HPS and MH seem to stretch them a bit more since they are so far away.

that's not CFLs.it's the light ballance of my phones camera.

He was just commenting on my comment.

Fluorescents keep plants small and bushy since they are only inches away from the canopy. There is no reason for the plants to grow too tall to reach the light. With a HID being so far away from the canopy, due to heat, the vegetation will reach for that light.

They are the best way to start in my opinion. Cheap, efficient, small and bushy.. besides, when flowering starts is when the most light is needed...

well, sorry then Enigma :)

No worries cheetah!

Just trying to share my findings with the community!!!

The first op I was ever a part of was because I found it, lol. They either had to kill me or let me in on it!

So I became the 'security' officer!

Imagine that.

Soon after I had my hands on that part of the op nothing else was ever found out.

I watched and learned, the 1000w MH they were using made the plants so tall and stretchy they had to support them (six) through the whole op. The 1000w HPS made this worse.. and they wouldn't top them!

When I got on my own I showed them up with 'inferior' equipment!!!

Fluoro's for veg, HID's for flower.. unless you are budgeting a small space.. then CFL's for flower.

you've got yourself quite the pretty sativa there! shes got NICE long lasting traits on her!!!

i like how your buds arent whispy, im not sure if you've had a harvest before this, but sativa's tend to be whispy....yours looks nice and nuggy! almost like it will fill out those thin wide branches!!

im stoked to see some finished product!

especially since the strain is unknown!

thanks man.i hope that she will end her life in that pot.don't wanna re-pot her.this is the only think that I am concerned about........for now
