I was just going to transplant in to soil cant afford that for hydro what should i do i have a heated propagtor and my main grow room is a 400 w mh for veg n a 400w hps for flowering would i be able to gently remove them from the rock wool and place them in soil or keep it in the rock wool and could i place them under tht light or is it to strong
Nothing is too strong in my opinion. You could put them under a 600hps as long as it doesn't hurt them. Test with the back of your hand at canopy level. If you feel nothing so will she. As far transplanting to soil, I've never used rockwool in soil. So I can't help with that

Edit: I'd be afraid of rot or mold.

rockwool will transplant into seriously anything. I run coco-perlite mix and i'm dabbling with a coco-soil(foxfarm)-perlite mix which i find is great up until week 2 or 3 of flower when I start giving them big girl nutes and black strap molasses. but like i said the rockwool cubes will transfer into soil but wait until you see roots and it would be ideal to put a light mix such as light warrior for the first few in then place a heavier soil underneath I use fox farm's ocean forest, this will help you avoid feeding too heavy too soon.

If you don't see roots coming out of the bottom. Yes. I like to wait til they are about 5" tall min. Before I transplant. I don't remove the dome until then either. I only open it slightly for some air. But not too much as to avoid losing humidity

If you are going to be going out in soil, then get a small pot like 3" or a disposable plastic cup and cut a couple of holes on the bottom edge, and transplant with the rockwool, don't try to take it out. And in the future if growing in soil just start them in soil, it's the easiest way to start seeds.

Best of luck.

I would stick with the cfl til you switch to hps. You can cause shock by introducing different light sources and stunt growth.

I would definitely bump it up. At least 65-100.

And no you want to use your Mh for veg.

Cfl for germ til teansplant
Mh for Veg
Hps for flower

I'm gona tell you something you don't want to hear...those white spots in pic 1 look like spider mites, get a magnifying glass and check the bottoms of the leaves, mites can't be seen with the naked eye, and if they can you're done with those..and about your PH levels, here ya go,,,good luck man..

i hate to say it but he's right if they are spider mites id recommend using, azomax, sns 209(the foliar application for this early on), or final answer. I've had good results with all three but azomax is my fav! good luck!

I only have my mh that is bigger and are u taking bout the white spot on the leaves cos they have been there since day one ?
OK, make me show my newbie fuckups will ya..lmao...this one was severly nute burned but look at the little white spots...they were spidermites buddy...and I use nothing but CFLs, especially in the early stages...EDIT: HIDs are too much for me in the state I live in, around here if your electric bill goes up all of a sudden, they get a search warrant...lol..

007 (2).jpgSpidermites!!!! But, I use neem oil and they're gone and this 1 actually came back..003.jpg

But, it was this 1 I was worried about..

006.jpg I use neem oil as a regular regiment now..I water and foiliar spray once a week with neem after lights out as to not burn them up.

EDIT: I had those spots from day 1 also...
