Autos are a little over 5 weeks in. Just topped them 4 days ago, getting tons of light, all is going pretty good so far. It’s my first grow, so I’m just making sure the plants are looking good.
When should I train them? And also is the yellowing at the bottom a concern?

This is my first time ever growing auto plants (I have two of them out in three gallon pots with the rest of my gardens) so I'm inexperienced, but since you can't decide when to flip to flower, I would think that topping an auto plant would significantly reduce yield potential, no?

Regarding the yellowing at the bottom of the plant... that's almost certainly Nitrogen deficiency. Time to start feeding nutrients.

Ya its best to leave autos alone. We dont have too much control over them, best for outdoors with little or terrible grow seasons.
