Checking Trichomes....

What up everyone-
So im getting close to the end of my first flower stage/grow. Been checking thr stigmas/hairs and trichomes. Growing bag seeds in soil under LED. Not really sure what the seeds are but I’m assuming by the looks of them i have 3 sativas and 1 indica. My main priority the whole time is to be able to complete a grow from start to finish.

Where does everyone check their trichomes? Leaves, budds, stem? Ive been looking at both and can see a difference in color on both.

You want to check the trichs on the buds for maturit. However the trichs on the leaves will turn sooner. So you can get an idea of when your buds will start changing by watch the leaves.

I noticed that there are more on the leaves and little on the budd. Figured i still have more to go. Just cool to see all the different colors

So now that you understand how that works. Try chopping your buds at a few different stages of cloudy/amber, this will let you see first hand how you prefer your buds.
