BlackRoses thanks for the words of encouragement... this is my second grow and SOG is hard for me to do as it means i need many plants so maybe 12/12 from seed to harvest doesnt suit my needs... but as you said the journals on it are great and i had to try it. Its great that you have subscribed and that your follwoing the grow lights are on in 3hrs so ill get some pics up for all you guys following.

It's not a full single cola SOG like I explained above, but I can't find the journal right now and he's doing a nice job up to now.
That one is still running, so you can bookmark it and just follow his images as he makes posts

So day 50 and all is well not much of a change to the straight up plant or the one i bent over (LST). The straight up is packing on bud on top and the LST is making many more medium bud sites all over the place an it still is slowly covering it self from head to toe in crystals. The crystals are now starting to show on the Topped plants leaves plus the two main colas that were created after the top have really started to take off.

Ill do a load more pics at the weekend of the other two plants but is not much to update so should make for better viewing

Nice man looking good you should get some bomb buds how long till harvest do you think?... also do you know how long it took for the topped one to recover? because im doing the kind of same grow and i just topped mine last week...

Hi 808toker

i am hoping around 4 weeks more but i swear time goes backwards when your watching these chicks grow! I should have kept a better log but in my mind and from the dates of the pics i have it was maybe 5-7 days to really see the two shoots start to make there own way but it has been around 7 days to really see the bud forming.

The two pics below are 7 days apart the first on the 13th and the 2nd on the 20th. I hoe this helps

Thanks man it did. i just went out to check mine and the two shoots are coming in nicely. im doing almost the same grow as you just differnt setups but im doing 1 topped 1 lst and 1 left alone i think you should check out my thread im updating constantly and i will be posting more today/tomorrow heres the link https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/331299-how-good-am-i-doing.html

The plants are going great but i wish i could say the same for me!! The LST is looking like a real potent mofo and the straight up is really packing on bud! Have been sick over the weekend so didnt get a chance to do any pics but will do when the lights come on today.... its well worth a look so please come back and check em out

Ohhh i cant wait i always enjoy looking at some beautiful ladies...haha next grow if you decide to lst again try to make it circle the pot...itll make a huge difference....well thats what i saw on a lst thread....haha sounds great man how much do you think youll get off of this harvest?

Thats an interesting theory with regards to the circle pots i went for the square ones as i wanted to keep things close in the grow room as its not so easy to position round spots together and utalise the most out of the light. Ill do some reading thanks for the tip my next grow i think i will do a single plant maybe 2 but i want to do them like this https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/6834-how-lst-low-stress-training.html as i like the idea of less risk but more bud as for me the more plants i have the more trouble i get in if anything goes wrong!

I am not really sure what to expect when its all dry and cured... the main reason i started was that i saw 12/12 from seed threads that said 1g for every Watt used so 3 plants x 600 Watts sounds like a nice number BUT i am sure i wont get this much. I would have wanted the plants to be a little bigger but after my last grow when i ended up with near 6ft bitches its much easier to maintian.

I too have started some cheese wreck seeds about 3 weeks ago now. they are under a 600w sodium on 18/6, buy i will change to 12/12 in 6 days time.
Do you know what height they will reach if not topped ?
also what will cheese wreck yeild ?
i have a loft grow room with only 4.5ft height & i am worried they will get too high if i dont top them.
how long do yours have left till harvest ?

Haha that's the exact thread i was talking about...i see what you mean about the pots though sorry its hard for me to relate since i do grow outdoors...well .if you do decide to go with LST'ing the plants around the pot let me know how the next grow is going i would sub that in a heartbeat...haha well thanks for chatting with me and checking out my grow always good to have peoples input and advice look forward to seeing how your plants turn out

Hi b2theizzle,

thanks for stopping by my grow is nice to hear im not the only one doing the cheesewreck. my grow is based upon 12/12 from seed to harvest so when loooking at my plants remember they have had zero veg time.

from what i have read the hight of a plant depends on how long you veg it and how far the lights are from the plants i.e stretching. You can always LST the plants to help keep them small as they grow and this can be done in veg or flowering. What height are the plants now? i think they say it will get around 50% taller when it goes into flower. With my last grow (my first grow) i used CFL bubs for the veg stage then used my 600HPS for flowering to keep my electric bills down

As you are strict on space it maybe best do do some serious LST and delay the flower date then you will be sure you did everything you could to keep them short. Always water them before LST'ing them as the stems are more flexible and less likey to snap! Whats the width of the room? as this will also impact your grow as well as the height. I will be putting pics up tomorrow of mine so take a look at the three plants but imagine them bigger if i had vegged them but the principles would be the same and you will see that the topped one is actully now the biggest! If you want more info on LST check out the post above which i posted to 808 today, is a great link.

I am not sure on the harvest but from the way things are going it will be as it name says stinky and will hit like a train as i wont have vegged them at all it will for sure effect the yield between both our plants. What neuts are you using, soil etc etc i would love to see how your grow is going so please please stick around or post some pics on the thread as i want to see how these do with a veg stage. What breader did you get the seeds from are they attitude as well?

Here is the LST plant its really packing on bud at the top and with the leaves more covered in crystal than the other two.

I had to do all the pics in a rush so they are not that great but next time will take more care

Here is the one that is going straight up is slowely but surely getting bigger and bigger main cola and now i can start to see the crystals appearing on the leaves close to the buds.

This one has made the most change over tha last few weeks the two colas look strong and the bud is really starting to take off.

I will check all the sizes of the plants later today and post the measurements but the topped plant is now the largest of the three. Oh and its really starting to kick up a stink now which is hard to mask but i am looking forward to the strong bud its producing.

Hey gooner, Couple quick questions. At what point did you top your plant and how tall are your plants now and maybe I missed it but what strain are you growin?

no worries BigV... so the topped plant... if you check out the post #26 of the journal there are two pics a week apart and i topped it around 7 days before that so approx 6th of may (19 days ago). I forgot to check the heights yesterday which is poor form as its need for an update of pics but i will post later today but there were all at around 1ft when i checked just over a week ago.
