Thanks JFA916 for stopping by and for the positive feedback... ill get some pics up later this week. the trics are starting to stand up tall and its started to give off a lemon'y smell which is strange but nice

I already had a plant in its last 2 weeks in the room so i just put them on the floor straight under the 600 which was around 4ft away i did this for around 2 weeks... i just wanted them to be strong enough before i lowered the 600 down to about 2ft.

Thanks Sublime new pics coming in the next 2 hours the LST plant looks evil but so so good

So here is the LST plant at 73 days as you see its going very well the shots of the main cola below also have ZOOM'ed in versions and you also see that the lower buds are also looking pretty cool.

Compared to the others it looks the most impressive and maybe the most potent. The bud to touch is firm but not tight like the straight up plant which has some major compact bud almost like a rock.

sorry for not being online and updating but i have been away from the room for a week and without my daily love and attention the topped one has had a rough time as some of the leaves have started to go yellow'y and have burnt and broken tips.

Here is the straight up plant and as i said earlier this bud is so solid i am a little un happy that its not as fat as the LST plant but i am not sure if this means i should leave it longer till harvest than the LST.... If anyone can offer an opinion it would be great do you think this one can get a fatter if i leave it a few more weeks?

Here is the topped plant and its going well just like the straight up plant i would have thought it would have bigger buds!

I know i set this back around 7 to 10 days as the shock of topping took around this time to recover. Do you guys think if this is left this will get much fatter with the two main buds?

The close up shots are of the two main colas the other buds down low are still nice but not a great deal to look at

Btw, usually within the last 2 weeks of growth, the buds can sometimes double in size and fatten up fasttt.

i think the LST lady will be ready in a week or so i have already started just giving this one only 6.0 water. I feel the other two have more to offer but i am not so sure as this is the first time i have made it to the final few weeks (am on my 2nd grow). I am really hoping the Straight Up and Topped will get bigger buds over the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Thanks for the plus rep post the link for me as i would be interested to see another good grow.

I think i will try and i mean it wont be easy but ill try to keep the straight up and topped going for as long as i can. thanks again for the comments and info

I think i like the untopped one better myself,
just the look of it.

I know my buds still seem to be putting on weight.
This is day 78 for my 12/12 and i watered half a day
late, the buds were sagging almost below the top of the pot.
I'm really impressed with how big the buds are being 12/12 from seed.
I'm doing a purps clone straight from rooting to 12/12
as my 12/12fseed finishes up.

Hi Probo,

Thanks i cant wait to smoke it Thanks for the heads up on the watering... i have been using 11 litre pots and its been hard as a noob to really water them properly and if i am honest i have been doing it everyday up untill last weekend where i used about 8 literes in one watering session bt as its just 6.0 water and no neuts i dont think i hurt htem i just havent had to water them everyday but now every two days.

I was also surprised by the size of the buds and the quality most said that its not worth the time dong small plants with no real yeild but i have to say i am very impressed with what has come from this so far... the only regret i have is that i didnt just do the light LST to all of them but once i promted the test of three methods i had to keep going. If they all looked liked the LST plant i would be much happier. The funny thing would be if it turns out this is not the most potent

as its just hitting peak summer time here ill take a few months break but i think next time i am going to veg for a few weeks (2 or 3) then get them in 12/12. If i had clones i would do as your doing whihc i think has to be the perfect method as i feel i havent really saved time as this should finish up at around 90 days. So if the strain says about 60 65 days of flower i may as well veg under cfls for 25 days then go to 12/12 so that the plants will be a little bigger as i have much more space in my 6ft tall flower room.

Here is the straight up plant as you see this one is really growing all up the main stem towards the main cola. the thing i think that will surprise me on the weigh in is htat its such a compact cola comapared to the LST and the Topped plant. I know i could have done it better but this time i tried to show you guys size so i put a ruler in the pics so you can see how different the buds are from one plant to the other.

I finally got my scope today so i will update later tonight how the trics are coloured

So as usual the LST looks so naughty i trimmed a bud of this 3 nights ago for a tester for the weekend (i know is naughty but hey fuck it better to try a sample then to cut the whole thing!).

Unlike the StraightUp plant this one seems to have a less compact bud but as you see its seems to be growing bud on bud and has the fatest cola of the 3 plants by far!

So here is the topped one the plant all over is more spaced out than the other two the lower buds look nice and the top two colas are starting to look impressive... i have to say at this stage i wont be topping plants again unless i am doing a veg stage topping in flower was not the best move!

I have my scope so will be checking out my trichs tonight and seeing when the chop is needed. Also on all 3 plants over the last 10 days i have given them nothing but 6.0 water and alot of it i have 11litre pots so a full flush based on what i read is to put 11litres through it which to me is over kill so i have been making sure the run off water is not being sucked back up and every watering day i have put between 2 and 3 litres into the plant.
