Taking a moment to share some bud pics and info from my most recent grow. Chemdawg from ilgm and some Canuck do-si-dos freebies.
Flowered the chem for about 74 days, but would have liked to let them go another week. The trichs were good but the calyxs still had a lil more swelling to do (I am getting ready to go back to school and finish my final year of college and needed to shift my focus/time to that). The do-si-dos were chopped at about 68 days and couldn’t be happier about those.
plants were cut off into individual branches, and I cut off any leaves with a easily accessible stems and hung to dry in my dresser with about 55% humidity and about 69 degrees Fahrenheit. This took about 7 days.
The do-si-dos had a slightly disappointing yield but made up for it in quality of rock hard, stinky buds. The chemdawg was a big yielder. Buds are dense and sticky, but produce a underwhelming spicy/gas smell till broken up or squeezed. I’m hoping the cure brings more of that smell to the surface of the buds.
All said, both are a great smoke and i’m very happy with the results. The chem proved to be a more finicky plant to grow, while the do-si-dos was pretty easy to grow and read.
