It would be so easy to quit. It would be so easy to throw it all away and move on. I have been thinking a lot about the mountains and all my adventures hiking and all the magnificent mountain tops . I once stood on top of
A high mountain peak in the Mt Baker area of Washington state . We met a shaman up there . He was an old white haired man with a long grey beard and a walking stick. He had not made the trip back up to that summit in 25 years but felt the calling that day . We met up there and chatted about our life’s journeys and we stood staring out above the mountaintops of the North Cascades up into Canada . Bump after snowy white bump. Pictures welded into my mind forever . I feel like quitting my job and packing up and just leaving any day now.
The struggle is real.

Can't do it.. Life's adventures are what form us into what we are. Good or bad there is always something to be learned from them. :peace:

PS. Experienced something close to your mt. journey but mine involved a mountain goat high in the Sawtooth mountains of Idaho shortly after losing my father, just him, my dog and I enjoying a beautiful place together reflecting on the magic of life.

I hear ya Ambz and doesn't that sound nice....let's go. I've been feeling the same about getting away from everything and have great mountains here to do it. Maybe not quite like out west but they go up to 4,000 ft plus with spectacular views. That's where I feel the most at home. Maybe we should ditch our hiking partners and go lol. Hang in there my good friend
