From what I read, this is about a 10 week strain, so I'm thinking I'm down to the last couple of weeks. I'll probably do a res change tomorrow and switch to just ro water. Trichomes are starting to build, ill break out the microscope today and get a better look. From my research, this can be a difficult strain to tell when its done, it will continue to produce white hairs. The 17th will be the 10 week mark, and I think it will be about right. This will be my second harvest, the last one I cut branches off the main stalk and hung them individually, it seemed to work really well, so that's probably my plan here. I will probably trim as I cut, I've read this strain can by prone to bud rot because of the large dense buds. My RH is in the low 40s so I hope ill be ok.

Nice! Did you top it at all? I see now that she is a heavier feeder then what I was use to. Mine is growing a lot different then yours for a number of reasons and looks much different At this point . The next couple weeks I expect to see her look more like yours . I had a couple unexpected issues . The worst being the cal mag deficiency which she has now moved through Susessfully and is on a healthy path . I topped her during that stress and then one more topping before she was completely healed So that was a real stunt on her . But she looks really great now, Eating now and loving the higher nutrient foods . Putting the scrog screen down on her really helped as well. She has so many bud sites it’s quite impressive . But her fan leaves remain a bit dwarfed still. I hoping for a compete rapid recovery very soon. Thanks for posting the pictures! And good luck as you move to your last few weeks and final flush. I did not top her, wish I would have because the main stalk was out of control. She really took off around day 10 of flower, growing 3-4" a day. And really giving my RO water system a workout, never imagined a plant could drink 2 gallons of water a day. It will be very interesting to see how your girl acts in the next week or so. This is about when things got crazy, buckle up.

I don’t do it . I just top when I feel like it. I top for more bud sites . Using a scrog screen I look for all bud sites to be main bud sites because My goal is To get them to grow at equal Height and all as close to same size and density. The main colas under my screen do tend to be the biggest Fattest and most dense and most hard to manuver and stretch out and down. and in the end they end up at the outside of the canopy, never i the middle of the canopy . They are the ones most likely to end up with bud rot . Scrog screening changes the dynamics entirely With main colas.
when I grew without a screen I tried main lining and Hated it. Very ugly technique .
Do you have a thread with your waterfarms ? I would like to take a look. Good luck with your grow.
2 gallons a day is very normal At peak . I am looking forward to it. That means she is so happy and very dialed in. I am Buckled up and ready. I want to finish this grown as soon as possible and then move to New Jersey . My sister told me they are passing legal in NJ in November so perfect timing ! I promised my nephew I would teach him how To grow when I get there.

we are definitely
going into uncharted territory now....
I can’t ever recall having this type of massive bushy growth with explosive buds sites all under a 7 in high screen. It’s a fucking Jungle down there !
it is so damn bushy down below that I had to raise the screen and get my hands into the plant to carefully separate all of the beaches because they were a complete and utter cluster fuck.
once I moved them and opened her up , airing her out , I dropped the screen back down . Now the screen sits at 7 inches from bucket base .
she is very flexible and is a pleasure to move my fingers through her branches and leaves to position her more fluidly.
Did a res change and now at 720 PPMs with that extra Cal Mag she seems to love it!
Her fan leaves look so good and she has fully recovered from her initial illness and looks so healthy !
Man I am really looking forward to getting some bud action popping for the zombies to feast on!
I have a feeling the screen will be completely full by the time I am done.

Sounds fantastic ! I would love to get another 4x2 tent with a Zombie design on the outside like a custom design one . I would even be into making custom zombie scrog screens just like the I have now and partner up with a company to do it .but that’s just a pipe dream, I am sure there is not much of a market for this. In fact you could say it’s a living dead idea!

blue dream and Chemdog together, very nice selections! Huge yielding cash crops right there . The Blue Dream I grew got me 20 oz and man on man did it get rave reviews. I blew through that stash very very quickly and word traveled quickly about my growing skills and now I have a very favorable reputation with some long time conisseur marijuana smokers and requesting a wait list for my product.
I am hoping that this chemdog produces the same positive results.
as far a scottyballs growing style I have to say I have never strictly followed all “the rules”. It wasn’t until recently that HE even knew about the Scottyballs manual that was circulating!! Someone else pieced together what they knew of his style.
A few things I don’t follow from Scottie .
1. I top early and at least 2 times.
2. I drop my screen down when it is needed not when I flip to 12/12
3. I clean up some of the growth under the screen but I do it slowly and when it looks ready and i do it often for weeks .
every strain has its own unique response to growing and it’s important to use your intuition and not get trapped in a rule book type mentality .

I found a wig today. It is all white so I am thinking about adding some red to it to look like blood dripping down from the axe. It also goes really well with my zombie mask , which is a really great because i didn't like it without the wig and I added more blood to the axe . This was all done in my 3D paint App. so i could get a good visual before i went ahead and did it on the real stuff.
Also picked up some ping pong eyeballs, another rat, some white mice.

I again, had to untangle branches and leaves and Another really really big - big defoliation although it doesn’t look like it, I got rid of so much growth. She Now has better Air circulation the pruning and the addition of another fan under the canopy. She drinks a gallon a day now.

I ran of my own stash so picked up a couple grams of wedding cake( I hate that name for a strain) aka Pink Cookies( better name) and really really like it. I want to grow it after this Chem dawg.
