hey all,

im at day 28 and the very top leaves of the main colas are cupping downward a bit but the weird thing is that all the other leaves throughout the plant are fine.

it starting in the beginning of this week independently of the other plants with the same regimen. made sure to let the soil dry up a bit more than usual to make sure it wasn't overwatering and the runoff pH is around a 6.

is it being overfed? have a aircooled 600W hortilux ~9" from the main tops. temps are in the low 80's in the tent even with a reverse light cycle to battle these daytime temps... i put my hands where the colas are and it really isn't that hot. i searched 'clawed leaves' but i dont feel like this is what it is... or is it? :cuss: haha.

thanks for the help! :bigjoint:

here's a closeup of one of the colas-

and here's the rest of the plant showing how all the other leaves seem to be fine... too close to light?

well , it looks more like a mite damage than burn but its a light burn ... if not air cooled the 9" might be too close
do all the tops look like that ? even the plants that are further than 9" of te lamp ?

do u have ample air cyrculation ? i felt a bit sufocating looking at pic no2

haha, yeah i got a 4" hydrofarm inline pulling air through the hood at all times. it's a 4x4 tent and also has a 6" duct fan attached for air intake. even with that there is still a neg pressure. and lots of fans inside, so i don't think its an air issue but i dunno... thx for the reply!

like bonjo said it could be mites, high temps, or slight overdose.
mites would prob be more appearant in the large fan leaves too and not so limited to only the tops of plants, if only one plant is behaving this way then its possible. still you should put out a few sticky traps to monitor for pest as a precaution.
if you dont feel much heat on your hand just above the canopy then you should be fine especially with your well ventilated air cooled set up.
nutrient overdoses can definately manifest at just the top of plants, there are two kinds of nutes. mobile and immoble. mobile nutes like nitrogen move through the plant to new growth areas like the top of the plant where immobile nutes stay where they are. so with just the tops slightly curling
in my opinion id say you have a mobile nutrient overdose. not too bad though and it shouldnt effect it too much just dial back only slightly on your nutes.
