The people who are boycotting chick-fil-a has every right, just as the owner has the right to say what he wants to say. I've never ate there before, and never will now. I just don't see the importance of the owner coming out against gay marriage. How does that make things better. In my opinion that was a dumb move. If you own a business you keep your trap shut about politics, religion, and race. No matter how much you agree or disagree with something you keep that to yourself, unless you want to run the risk of being put out of business. Chick-fil-a probably won't feel any ill effects of the comments made, atleast monetarily speaking. I do think that the owner will get a bigger head and think he can say and do what he wants and that his business is "too big to fail", and he will mess up and say something else in the near future that will hurt him even more.
I have nothing against gay marriage, who cares. If someone wants to get married then let them get married. All the people who are against it always bring up the whole, "God said it's for a man and woman" deal, and try to use the "it's sacred". Well, if marriage was so sacred anymore then why do we have such a high divorce rate? If you want to bring religion into marriage then that's fine, do as you wish, but you can't use religion as a scapegoat since divorce is such a common thing now. Hell, if these idiots want to bring religion into the whole marriage act, then they should remain virgins until they get married. What's the likelyhood of two virgins getting married anymore......slim to none.
They are just a bunch of homophobes, racists who by the way are hypocrites. I feel that marriage means nothing anymore so why does it matter.
