Yes I agree. I like to know it 'bit' about who i am talking to also and I think knowing gender would be cool.:blsmoke: and fun!

I made this thread more for some light-hearted fun!
It would however be nice if there was some way to display gender. I'm not sure why but I've sometimes thought I've been talking to a woman and found out it was a guy , like 3 months later or vice versa.

And besides;
being Mr. Ganja sucks. :?

Sorry I joined this thread. It's not an issue that effects me in any way, and I retract my post.

I just thought you were lobbying for everyone to be wearing their gender on their sleeves, and at the time I felt that I didn't want this forum to be so much about gender as about growing. Ultimately, nobody on the internet knows who you are anyhow.

So, whatever :) If females think that the "Mr. Ganga" tag is oppressive it should certainly be done away with.

If Mr. and Mrs. (Ms.?) can't be toggled, maybe someone could come up with a less offensive tagline to replace the one in question.

i don't need quotes, i've read this thread more than once, and i know who said what. i mod here whether i have modlike powers or not....my point is, that it's not a big deal to change it, and it doesn't affect everyone, only the females. why are you so against it? :confused:

if someone were to take the time, great, if not, i don't think anyone will cry, but i don't see why it's so much of a problem.

and also, i think if you look at CURRENT membership, you'll find that there's probably a bit more than 2% female...... ;) not all of us have pretty girly names :mrgreen:
