Chiller makes system smell like wet dog

Just hooked up my chiller to my rdwc and now my room smells like a wet dog, done dwc before a bunch, never chilled or recirculating, never smelled like dog, ain’t the plants they’re just seedlings rn, nutrient solution is sanitized(0.25ml bleach/gallon) it’s so weird, I don’t even have a dog

Figured it out, was just water building up in a poorly placed humidifier hose

We had a similar issue and realized after we replaced it that we had a clogged drainage tube. Luckily we were able to return the new unit.

I use the return hose from my water chiller like a little waterfall for extra oxgenation, plus it serves as a great indicator that the chiller 'circuit' has a blocked filter or struggling pump, if the waterfall slows down too much...
