yah if that can handle a 30 gal aquarium, and its submerged which is very important, as glass(like all aquariums) is very un-insulating for heat, than it should work fine... i say 30 gal because most aquariums are around the most widely used, which means most products like you mentioned will be designed for that

hey, btw, get more bubbles, they greatly reduce the water temp and help with releasing nute into the air. thats how i fixed my temp problem in my reservoir

hey thanks again i ended up ording it and under the specifications it says it can cool 10 gal to 6-8 deg. , now im using this actually to use with the water that runs in my icebox so i needed some cold water to cool the air. so anyways i use a bucket with about 1.5 -2 gallons in it (all it needs to move water and be submerged) so if im doing my math right 10=6-8 , 5=12-16 , 2.5=24-32 deg
