Yep so... woops I got one of these \/
Naive enough to buy one during peak excitement, and now that I have spent a week learning about all the variations of lights and how they grow compared to one another I have just a few questions:
The UFO I bought -
Ebay this, its the 45 dollar (cant link yet cos new )
= 150W Full Spectrum UFO LED Grow Light Hydroponic Plant Veg Flower Lighting Lamp
the chinese knock off thats under driven, can I benefit from those wavelengths? that 12500, is that going to negatively effect my plant? should I have this hanging in the direct top centre of my 1.5m high 1.2m x 60 grow tent?
Should I keep it very far away from my plants to receive any benefit, if there is any from that disc of garbage?
I am alternatively and readily planning on using an already purchased 135 w dual spectrum CFL, the 2700/6500 I believe, didn't go 300 because I was concerned over heat..
Also with two more supplementing (x2 135w Studio photography bulbs 5000k) - I also bought these impulsively, so please someone tell me if these:
Ebay this - 2PCS 135W 5500K 220V E27 Photography Daylight Photo Video Studio Lamp Bulb
Are these usable or just wrong for MJ?? Or will they cover sides nicely below my possible disc/150w Dual spec CFL?? I'm very excited to find out.. SO
How should I use these lights effectively?
I assume 8000+3000+3000+120(disclol) lumos? "Ish"
Will I encounter heat from these three CFL's mentioned? I'm sure the UFO knock off will run a little or alot of heat too?
Any experience with any of these bits would be fantastic.. Someone please solve the age old UFO mystery - do they harm your sht or do they help and what can one 150w /True 38w dual spectrum grow? I dare someone to find out..
Will CFL's alone give me top head?
Oh and also, dont turn this into a HID thread, obviously HID's are worse than my Chinese UFO disc because they're expensive to run and a fucking fire hazard and undoubtedly causes insect death on a mass scale
