Chlorine removal

I have been growing in soil for a couple years now, just switching over to an Ebb n' Flow table set-up. I am using a 70 gallon reservoir. My R/O system can't keep up, so I am using tap water. What, other than letting it stand, can I do to get rid of the chlorine. Can I use a fish tank/pond De-Clorinator? Some De-Chlorinators also remove heavy metals, would it remove the "good" metals? I'm kinda lost here.

If you're going to be using tap water, chlorine isn't your biggest concern. Just let it sit overnight and keep an eye on TDS and pH levels and you should be fine. On a side note, I really hate the fact that in my county they've recently started fluoridating the water which makes no sense at all. They say they put it in there for people's dental health, but drinking it and putting it in your bloodstream won't shit for your teeth! Fuckin' ridiculous!!

You water them in the dark cycle?

Nope. My lights are on 7pm til 7am, to help with cooler temps. I won't be here in the am to do final res. fill-up. so must be done mid light cycle, thus the need to knock out the chlorine ASAP.

Dude, don't sweat it.
Chlorine (or more than likely chloramine is in your water) is not going to hurt your plants in the concentrations found in tap water. If anything, it will act as an anti-pathogen.
