Choosing nutrients for use in coco coir grow?

Hello everyone,
I'm preparing for my first indoor grow as I'm unable to work outdoors at the moment.
My only problem is choosing nutrients to use with a coco coir medium.

1x 400w MH/HPS lighting system
3 gallon pots w/ coco coir medium
5 plants at a time
Hand-watering
Nirvana Short Rider auto-flowering strain.

This is my first indoor grow, and I'll bite the bullet and be going with Nirvana's Short Rider auto-flowering strain. I've seen it in action, and my colleagues have had good results with it.

A few sources have mentioned that AF strains don't need much nutrients since they grow quick.

So, denizens of RIU, what do you recommend as a good brand of nutrients for a canna coir grow?

canna and house and garden both have a coir specific line with aditional cal-mag in the mix, botanicare and advanced nutrients can also be used in coco coir as well, but you need to add a cal-mag supplement to both. All 4 lines work just as well as the next really, it just depends on how well you get to now your strains and their likes or dislikes.

I'm learning that Fox Farms hydro line works pretty good in coco. I use cal-mag just in case.

I will say I agree with your choice of Dyna-Gro line. Add some "great white" bennies as well.

Soul Synthetics all the way. It's pretty much designed for coco and it's semi organic. Alot more organic than AN or GH.
