Hey Gene, I've been watching you and Gromau5's videos for two and a half years now and I just wanted to say you guys are great. You two are a big part of why I'm where I am today in the growing world. Maybe someday I'll be on that panel with you guys :)

Additionally, I was wondering if you were thinking of putting together some new designs using the new Veros and Citis? Those gen 7 veros seem to be blowing the CXB3590s out to the tune of 15% efficiency gains. I've ordered citi 3618's, 1825's, and some new Veros and I can't wait to see the results myself. Have you guys done any testing with them yet?

I've got some patients right now who are looking to break off their reliance on me and I'm trying to get them set up with grow lights. Originally I was going to tell them to go with you, but you don't have the new stuff yet! Am I gonna have to build these guys some lights myself?

Johnson grow lights are just a knockoff of any light selling on Alibaba but w/ low end Crees. They've literally copied every comp. they don't have one original light. Skimp on components & sell for the highest price tag.
Johnson is the worst decent light to buy IMO.
They are the prime reason why DIY is more feasible.

Really You Grow With An OVERPRICED POS Amare Enough Said. The Point I Was Making Is That This Lamp Is Assembled In China And Not In The US As He Stated. I Also Happen To Know That Johnson Is Taking Steps To Do All the Manufacturing In the US But As Of Now Its Still China

Who cares about China that means nothing as long as you do buss w/ US.
My point is, every single one of his lights are copy-cat design. Every single one. And are still lacking in the better components but still the very highest priced. That's it. Ya, they will give you great results. That's why I said the worst decent light. Most money, non-original, lacking in parts.
Copied every light out. Especially as of recent.
Who gives a shit about where it's assembled.

Yeah mate, fairplay posting your grow pics and results. I get sick of all the bullshit too! Why? Coz I've been hearing it since 2010 in the blurple led game, where every single led grow light put's out more par than any other grow light in the world, 'watt for watt', now suddenly every cob company is the best. It's all bullshit to me too, with regards to the specs and stats.

I'm with you on that, anybody with a decent led whether pre made or self build, show us by posting some pics of your flowering plants! A shit led will veg a plant better than hps. It needs to be a decent led to flower a plant properly though! The rest doesn't mean shit without pics!

Lol. I may just go with a mars II 900. I'm sure the light will work fine.

I've still never grown before...so having my budget cut in half, if i can have a few successful grows then I'll look into the future technology.

Plus, laws may change in the next year, where they will not allow home cultivation...

Doing this for a 3x3 area, and 3 plants
