Choosing the right LED

i am trying to decide which LED lights to pick up to fill my grow space. I’m looking to fill atleast a 6x6 area. Instead of buying the larger LEDs I would like to use multiple smaller ones . Any suggestions?

Spend a little extra and go with cob fixtures as opposed to those blurple lights.

I’ve ran HPS, led, and COB and the COB lighting out performed them both. I run two 4x4 fixtures with 600w of Citizen 3500K COB, and two 3x3 fixtures with 400w of Vero COB lighting. And 200w of Vero 3500K for my veg closet.

I purchased all of mine from Timber grow lights. Best upgrade I ever made, I went with the 3500K light spectrum because it’s perfect for both Veg and Flower cycle. I’d actually like to throw a few 1750K lights into the fixture that I could turn on during flower...

They look expensive but absolutely paid for themselves.

Thanks a lot, gonna drop it to 5v5 (25 sq ft ) and aim for 800w actual draw . That will be 32w per squared foot. Also I am going for multiple smaller lightings to better distribute the light . Rather than 1 focus point .

I'd say that on a 6x6, I'd split that into 4 arrays each covering a 3x3. 320w/fixture with some good cobs, boards or strips would give you some great density.

Hlg is releasing the elite v2 board next month if you want to diy that's a good/cheap option you could go with 4 and active cool them for like 1000w with some rapidled frames it could be an easy cheap build.
