Sometimes you can get more pressure by adjusting the pressure regulator that is installed on the water line right after the main water shut off valve. Gotta be careful doing this though because you could find a weak spot in the homes plumbing
When I moved in to this place I only had 40 PSI at the filter. I adjusted my regulator and brought it up to 65 PSI. I could have went more but I didn't want to push it and blow a fitting lol. The shower works so much better now though, before it was just a weak dribble like a drooling retard shower lol.
