My plants are entering the 7th week and I think I waited to late to flower there at 30 inches and I only have 16 inches of height left to raise my lights. I have tops just growing in to my lights. Today starts my first day of flower and I wont to not top but cut the stem to the next node about 5 inches to start start my flower stage what do you think, any one I wont to do it this morning
Thanks

yo dude i just topped my plants today, 7 snow white ladies 3 weeks old, you can top above any node as suits you best...
you may want to take off the 2 nodes nearest the top which will give you more space....
its never too late, you can leave your plants in veg for as long as you want and like you said your plants are 7 weeks old so that isnt long anyway, it will give you a good yield, ffs i have a big bud plant at 9 weeks veg in my room and still havnt flowered it lol

peace

Would u chop ur head off?
what kind of dumbass comment is that, 'would you chop your head off', tell that to the millions of growers around the world who top/fim their plants, not only mj plants mind you ALL plants, its a proven way of keeping your plants shorter and in some strains produces far greater yields

Dont cut the tops. See if you LST your plant.

I ALWAYS top, usually after they reach 7 nodes or so, unless the breeder recommends not to. (I have yet to grow a strain that was such)

yeah but can you get a BIGGER top bud if you dont top your plants?? I know youll get more top buds if you do top your plants, but Im looking for the largest top bud, even if it means not having as many.

ANYBODY??? Is what i said true?? Will I get a bigger top bud if I dont "top" it, or will it be the same size as the tops if I were to "top" it

I agree. If you want one top you need to flower about 2 wks into veg if you have limited space. Even then, it would be a crapshoot because of stretch.

SWEET, I really didnt want to top this time around. due to my limitied size in te closet. Ive got 8 going and if they get toped im afraid they would bush out to much for my small closet (assuming they all turn out to be female). PLus I like having bigger buds :-P
