CHOP time???

my plants are og kush from clone in dwc. 2 plants - 62 days flowering.
look at the pics and let me know what you think if they're ready to be harvested or not.
All the leaves look dead on the top but on the bottom half the leaves are still green, plus im pretty sure my light was too close to my plants (which i think caused them to herm), so im not sure if theyre fully ready yet.
my last grow was same strain in ebb n flow hydro and it ended up taking 9 - 11 weeks (the harvest at week 9 was kindof grassy smelling).

im thinkin to chop the top colas off in about 3 days or so and then the rest a week after that? what do yall think

i think you hit the nail on head yourself.chop the tops and let the bottom mature a little more.

ya the tops look ready i think you know what your doing. hope it taste as good as it looks

it was grassy smelly cuz it had or u used to much Nitrogen during flowering when u should be giving more P K than N

do any of you know how long it takes for seeds to mature. these two plants hermied on me and i wanna make sure i get some nice seeds from this crop. ive been growing from clone for so long and in hydro im switching to seeds and organic soil. also, would the seeds be feminized if the plant was a female but turned hermaphrodite?

From what I've heard...a hermie that pollinates itself will produce more hermie seeds. If they pollinate other plants you should be ok, not feminized though. The seeds should be finished by 60+ days as long as the male pods released in the first couple weeks of flowering. Take the seeds out of the bud and let them dry out for a couple weeks before storing.

Someguy, damn more herm seeds does not sound nice, ill just have to grow some out and see though. if you look in pic 4, you can see a seed pretty clearly on the left side of the screen, by the looks of that you think the seeds are mature? 62 days flowering, hermied in i wanna say week 3-4. But just by the look of the seeds that i could see poking out, they look like what healthy seeds normally look like.

Skunky thats good to hear cus by the looks of it this crop has been nitrogen deficient for a while now, so too much N should not be a problem.
