Man what a shock watching this. I pretty much became fluent in norwegian using the same principles he mentions and doing most of the things. I pretty much just looked at it like being a child not caring about grammar or mistakes and correcting as people poointed them out and not being embarrassed to talk shit and had people with patience to speak to me very basically, but i would dare say i was almost as fluent as the natives in less than 1 year without ever picking up a book or writting down a word. I eventually learnt to write it by reading books. I also felt watching movies with the native languages subtitles and dictionary at hand really helps. This year I've watched borgen with danish subtitles and got reminded and learned quite a few new words.

Lol! And what about your other 4 languages ? Some people are just excellent at languages and you're one of them. My bf also. Which of course makes me very lazy! :)
