So your tap is at 400? That's high for my tastes, mine is at 320 or so and I had problems with it. I just switched back to RO for my hydro and haven't seen any of the previous problems... just a thought.

Thanks bro, yea I'll probably just run distilled water for this little hydro project Shit even for soil thats to damn high though, I just realized I'm feeding my hungry flowering girls in the area of 1700ppm! Some take it well and some not so much lol. Anyway appreciate you stopping in bro take it easy!

Btw to those following along, 600 hps with an air cooled reflector is on the way!

I,ve had a root around in my Garage and found a few bits of pipe and i've got some 200lbs Fishing Line somewhere so i'm half way to building one myself

Hell yeah just broke out my extra 600 myself lol...had everything I needed except a blower for the tent exhaust. Rockin out now, 1 day setup gotta love it!

Yea the VK is a stretchy girl to say the least!! Both are devolping flowers very quickly, its amazing what even a 250w hps will do in the right size area! Blackberry's are starting there stretch now, I steaked them today so I have something to hold what I hope to be massive buds! "knock on wood" lol.. First they have to be females though, I am unsure of the genetics. I'm curious if there both females hopefully they don't turn hermi, we will see soon.

Little Update,

Roots are growing great! Ph was @ 7 so I dropped it to 5.6, I have to pick up some nutes next week. When do they usually start yellowing in dwc, I havent have any yellowing from this girl yet and its probably been about 2 weeks. I'm thinking by sunday she will like a fresh res of distilled water and light nutes. I'm thinking of swithcing over to flora nova bloom, seeing I'm almost out of my FF for soil anyway. I'll be switching over to hydro in a couple months, but for now I'm going to rock these soil girl out under this 600 over the winter

White Dwarf is looking pretty swole, out of the 3 auto's she's impressed me the most so far! I'm gonna try and push her the full 8 weeks and see if I can get a little amber out of her.

Syrup turned into the frostiest of them all but I'm kind of confused as shes mostly sativa from the looks yet her trics are already pretty damn milky and her pistils have never really been to visible? Wierd but shes still swelling up slowly but surely, I'll just wait until I see amber start to form with her. From looking at the trics it doesn't seem long but shes just finishing up her 6th week of flowering so its hard to tell. I'm hoping she goes 8-9 weeks and blows the F up LOL

Thanks CD, its always good to keep impressing one of my original teachers lol. Well we kind of learned together but you had a head start on me from what I remember.

Just got to harvest again finally!!

Red D dried quicker then I liked but I'm glad I found that out now! She still took about 5 days to fully dry, keep in mind its soil and I let her dry out a little before chopping.

I smoked a little sample bud and it has me pretty baked right now! Smells amazing, can't wait to try the final product!!

Anyway here's the best shot I could get, trimming was simple. Didn't get as much as I had hoped but then again she was off to the side, under mh flowering for 4 weeks or so, hps the rest of the way. On top of that I had to switch from 18/6 to 12/12 because quzar never autoflowered and got to big lol.. so they've been under different light bulbs, light schedules... So whatever I get I'll be happy! They where just an experiment and I'm very happy with buddha seeds genetics, might even give them a try in the future!

Yea I hear ya, I'm not into auto's as much but they are fun to watch flower when your waiting on your regular girls to veg! Red D was perfect for me, flowered fast smells great, already taste great and didn't have a yellow leaf through the whole grow! Kind of crazy actually seeing I didn't feed her any grow through flowering. Anyway thanks for stoppin in and sharing your experience.

All nice man, and yes, I should pull quite a bit more from the vertical scrog than I would a horizontal. I get to use three walls that are 40" wide each to spread them out on instead of just a single space of 40x40. Each plant will have about 30"x36" of screen to grow into but I don't expect these first four to get that big. The next ones might though since I've already got some clones that have been vegging in an ebb&flow for a bit. I'll put them into the RDWC veg system as soon as I put the others into the flower tent (hopefully this weekend).

It's not for everyone but I like vertical growing better. I also prefer hydro, any type of hydro, over soil but that's a personal preference thing too. I'm currently running RDWC and E&F but the E&F system is being dismantled this weekend so I can complete my flower RDWC system. I'm only using soil for breeding and mothers right now and couldn't be happier.

thanks man, and you do and we did learn together, LoL. i wish i could grow my grow a little bigger, but im always happy with just my 1 or 2 plant grows. sweet lookin bud there bro!!

Yea I'm starting to slowly convert over to hydro myself. I just love the idea and controlling everything, I just wanted to get a good understanding of the MJ plant and I figured soil was the best way to start. I'm thinking of converting over to either a flood&Drain or a single waterfarm for my closet. I could either grow one big one or about 10-14 little ones.. I haven't decided what route to go but I think either will be great yield wise..

Looking amazing! Really healthy plants, no deficiencies. That white dwarf looks like fire! I'm so sad my bean didn't pop. I had to use a Flash Babalyon seed instead. I'm sure my lungs won't mind. Keep it up!

My syrup is done. Started on sep 7th and cut it down on nov 30th. 12 weeks exactly from seed. All the tri are cloudy with just a couple turning amber. I have a foothill filter that I put in the bottom of a carboard box and put a string at the top to hang the branches. When I turn on the fan and close the box the suction pulls the box lids in and keeps the box closed. That way I can be smell free and I still have the light on in the tent for the 5 SLH and emerald jack and grapefruit.
