Hello all.. I know this may be in the wrong placebut bare with me. I suffer from chronic pain in my left foot after a military tour left me jacked up... that said, i have been going to the VA in downtown PHX getting shots of steroids to ease the pain and inflamation. this is an old (2007) injury that still requires attention. I also had a surgery in 2009 on it as well... still in pain.

MY QUESTION IS... I have already been pre-qualified over the phone and go see a doctor in one week to say yay or nay...
Has anyonw that you know of been denied from chronic pain? can you recc. a good doctor?( in case this place is a waste)

thanks for all the help

I suffer from chronic pain from degenerative arthritis and bulging disks in my back. I took one years worth of doctor records from my regular doctor (he refused to sign the certificate) and went to 2200 w bethany home road, ste 7B. I just renewed my card for a second year. Hope that helps.

I also have a bulging disc in my lower back. As long as you have medical proof of your injury within the last 12 months you should be fine. Don't go to your doc for the card, go to a mmj doc, that's all they do. Look on craigslist or people here can refer you to their doc. I went to cpec on southern and country club way in Tempe.

Thanks to all for the valuable information. I made my appointment and was given the ol' green thumbs up. The doctor gave me her blessing, paperwork submitted, now just waiting on the card to show up in the mail. But with all that said and done, I don't have an application ID and it is not on physicians certification the DOC gave me... Where could I find this? :?:

I got mine via an email from the state, but I uploaded the application myself. Call the doctor, maybe they got the email.

So What do you have to qualify as Chronic Pain? how did it happen? and most of all, WHAT STRAINS/ PLANTS work best for your symptoms.

I have degenerative arthritis in my back, hips, and knees. I also have numerous bulging disks in my back...oh and there was that motorcycle accident that left me with frozen joints in both my shoulders not to mention I've been tossed a couple of dozen times by greenbroke horses. I can say I played hard in my youth (though the motorcycle accident happened when I was 48. I hit the pavement at about 40 mph). I just harvested Chemdawg-very low yielder but the smoke is excellent, White Rhino-nice and frosty..tried some this morning...had to take a nap afterwards :) , BigBud-was true to her name! and OG Kush-talk about skunky smell. :) I also have an Afgooey starting third week of flower and a little King Kush clone I got from Jayco via Murshdawg. As far as what works for my symptoms..they all do! I just change up what I smoke from day to day.(pictures: White Rhino, Big Bud, Chemddawg, and OG Kush)IMAG0523.jpgIMAG0537.jpgIMAG0544.jpgIMAG0542.jpg

Damn sorry to hear that.
I suffer from chronic pain to the left ankle/foot. I was injured in Iraq when a beginner pilot crash landed a hs-60... Search and rescue chopper..I was on the ground directing him when he side shifted tilting the rotor blade into the ground. My ankle was not broken but 3 100% tears of the ligaments, plus many many partial tears...
Military did surgery and called it good to go... My ankle now looks like a baseball is stuffed in their and the pain sucks. The VA here in PHX suck to btw...

I suffer from ADHD, insomnia and chronic pain...
Lets say I use medical for all my ailments.

What works for the pain and sleep as of now seem to Indica strains such as Northern Light Blue. That knocks me out at times and helps pain. For ADHD, everything. I have pine depress now and that so so. I REAlly like OG Kush though. It's hard for me to find it though. Maybe it doesn't get circulated in my circle enough. One strain I'm really interested in trying Chemdawg... I had a few friends say its great for day time use and a great experience all together.

pS...they all work great. The higher I am the better I feel about being broken !

The ADHS site still says processing... I can only tap my fingers for so long.. Plus, I looked at the application the clinic filled out, they checked doesn't want to cultivate....WRONG!!! When I get the card I'll have to have that changed fast! Besides the 10$ change, does it cost any extra to grow ? I mean as far as the ADHS goes?

Please don't thank me for my service. I appreciate it but I was paid to do the work, not a lot but I was paid... CANNABIS has always took care of my ADHD. Before my card, I was taking mad amounts of pills, ranging from adderal to Percs for the pain . Now the va won't give me pain meds and suggests I take ibuprofen...ok sure thing. I'll stay with the miracle Plant myself. No crazy withdrawals
