What are your thoughts on this as a less expensive alternative to the Cannatrol and less involved than the DIY alternatives?

I believe stuff like this, a camera lens dry box, building one from a fridge box has been discussed. I think the main issue with the one you linked is it has a compressor.

Its humidity range is also very limited, from 65% to 75%. It’s possible it would somewhat work, but these are usually not to pull lots of moisture out but to keep things stable. And it’s more expensive than building one of the koolatrons.

The "koolatron" I built is certainly less slick than the one @Hook Daddy built, but it gets the job done and it took all of an hour to put together, and I was stoned lol. You're gonna wanna put a dehumidifier inside of that once you realise it can't pull enough moisture out anyways, save yourself the money and just build one from a thermoelectric wine fridge.
