i have grown the jacks cleaner cutting along with a jackfrost sativa phenoe and island sweet skunk,and a sativa leaning bubblegum.i found the jacks cleaner an edgy,racy not the most comfortable high,the jack frost had to much sand legs in it for a sativa type that i was looking for,the island sweet skunk could grow in a blizzard and still produce.i put them all outside except the jack frost and the bubblegum,i could get the jackfrost back from a friend.my mistake was throwing away the keeper,the bubblegumm,it had no edgyness,no sand legs and had a sorta opiate feeling.it was not a true sativa but in no way was it indica it was just a real up and euphoric high.thats why im not overly interested in c99 because the 2 times i smoked it i found it racy and uncomfortible,im not paying to feel that way.but ive gone and killed my bubblegum.but then again serious are real breeders compared to todays lot.today any one can be a breeder,they really can.no ones tracking the globe looking for genetics,they buy one name plant and cross it to another,and call it breeding.any one at home can produce the same thing the new line of breeders are produceing,maybe even better.but my limit in flower is 10 weeks.

EDIT: Granted if I did have the choice between the F1's and the F2's I would take the F1.

haze2 thats the post im talking about sorry if i offended anyone by my other post but i didnt start it, im just trying to give helpful information

ive smoked C99. it comes around often in my parts... but ill tell you what, whoever is growing it around here isnt doing a good job..... cuz it was really nothing special...at all....

ya ive had some c99 that wasnt special more then a few times,that i thought it wasnt c99.the 2 times i knew for sure i smoked c99 it was a racy confuseing type high.it made my heart feel like i was baseing.but it was not as stable as people say,his went from 60 to 75 days.but a lot of people like that edgy high,im going on 50,if i want my heart to speed up i want it from a beutiful woman.but their was a guy on here that had a nice c99 i think his name was galaxy or close to that,i remember he was in toronto or hamilton.but he said it was his best plant if i recall.but a lot of people like it,but like i said we always like stuff better when its hard to get.but look in the strain guide it has about 40 c99 crosses alone.

oh that sounds like a super-high lol... and yea im sure the stuff i smoked wasnt 100% legit C99 and grown perfectly.. now i wish it was thoguh...

so ya like that racy paranoia,brush your teeth 5 time weed aye lol.my buddies son loves the jc,i think about a 1/4 of the smokers i know like the racy high,its funny i dont remember sativas being racy 30 years ago.we used to get a nice Hawaiian sativa that was up and clean,panama red was also more flight then turbulence,even the best i ever smoked the Botswana sativa was hallucinogenic and you could work all day in the sun with out the burn out,i wonder were and when this racy paranoia weed came from,ahh now i remember one Thia stick was not a smooth ride.

we're not retarded.. I think everyone knows what a punnett square is dude. All I'm saying is that when you take F1's that have close phenos anyway you're not going to get as much variation..

Nor do I think anyone needs to do research.. F2's are sick, just think about the phenos you get and the back crossing you could do with them.

i think every thing that the modern"breeder" has out today are f2,nothing is really stabilized.i heard of guys buying seeds 15 years ago and doing grow shows the genetics were that stable.todays breeding is all f2,but it is what people want or some people want. were you get a lot of variations to pick from.i don't think you will ever see the stabilizing of strains again,when you can make just as much money using the name pollinating game.i mean the weed is so good today any match will bring good weed.the rest is marketing and a good macro and soft gel color filters.thats why i think $57 is plenty for seeds,when you get in the high hundreds thats a burn,some plants can easily give a 1,000 seeds,that's $6000 a plant.so you can see how the money can add up.

i guess so money would add hella fast with that many seeds

i wish you were right about the punnett's square. i believe most in college don't even know it unless they are bio students. I say this because i worked in public education for way too long.

I make F1's to select clones. I make f2's to dissect strains(for the sativa phenos). F1's from F2's are still F1 hybrid vigour. and my shotgun breeds are great! you can't go wrong with kickass parents.

that's why i say any one can have a closet full of great plants he bred while spending 50 dollars at most on a seed pack.all the breeding's been done by SAM,shanti,tom,Neville,Simon,chimera,DJ etc,etc.when i read about the new breeders,i don't think breeder at all.tell me one of the so called new breed of breeders that grew out a 1000 plants of new genetics at one time,their isn't any.So when they charge more then 50 dollars for seeds that they never put in the time to stabilize i say bullshit.You want to charge 50-60 to get it to the people,fine,but i wont go higher.i

you are right, some of my best phenos have been from f2s, the reason i like f1s and defend it so is because of the uniformity, i like to grow sog stlye personally so i like no variation, i like 30 girls, 25gs a piece no crappy crap f2 that gets 7 inchs tall and only flowers a little bud, ive had that hapen 2 many times, it debatable til the day we both die i hope i didnt offend and i apologize again if i did
