Class action against Health Canada - Privacy Leak

MEDICAL MARIHUANA PRIVACY GAFFE CLASS ACTION

UPDATE: DECEMBER 13, 2016

The Government of Canada appealed the July 27, 2015 certification order. The appeal was heard by the Federal Court of Appeal on April 5, 2016. By judgement delivered on June 24, 2016, the appeal was allowed in part but the July 27, 2015 certification order was upheld with respect to the causes of action in negligence and breach of confidence. We are in the process of settling the terms of the certification order and the next steps are to issue notice of certification to class members and secure a trial date.

I wrote the privacy commissioner when that bs letter came. I have tried at least 10 times to register since 2013 and still have no idea if I am registered... guess I will have to call the toll free number.... fuck hellth Canada

Ya it's a bit of a shit show. I've registered several times and have moved 3 times...and I'm moving again on the 31st. I will have to register again. Go to the Branch McMaster (sp) site as it seems easiest.
