I dropped 4 seeds, got 2 fem. 1 was beefy and not too leafy, other one was more leafy. Both pushed out sterile at the very end. Both were easy to grow, no fuss. They smelled identical, like a high octane burnt rubber fuel. I was hoping id love the beefy one but ended up liking the leafier one more. It kept it around til i needed some space, figured i could find same or better with the remaining seeds.
I actually have 2 packs, got 1 from a private guy on ig and 1 from jj in person

This looks like the sour diesel I ran in Northern Illinois back in 2007-2008. Wasn't sure if it was legit but dude I got it from paid a grip for the cut.

Who has a clean cut of AJ's SD, I have seen a couple on strainly, but... the positive tests on the strainly thread here have really turned me off. Open to ideas thank you.

I have access to a legit chem D cuts thay is over 20 years old and going strong. A dude in his 50s acquired it in the early 2000s. Definitely produce some stinky sour chem buds.

So this is how I remember the Original Old school sour diesel looked like Original Sour Diesel. The Albany cut looks very similar to the ECSD which is what Jcue81 seems to have posted. All the other pictures I see here look great, but they look to have been crossed with something else. But hey maybe its just me and my memory is not as good as it was, but this is how I Recall what the Sour Diesels looked like from the thumbnail. Both were great. Great pictures everyone.

actually the "shoreline" ecsd ended up being really nice stuff, the first couple runs had issues.

I agree.. seems like alot of the sour and og are being crossed .. Do you mind letting that go...I been looking for that cut for a while..

Agreed that Albany cut looks closest to the real ECSD (from SunSimulator, et al.) that I remember growing. S1s that SunSim made also just end up with all sorts of progeny from chem to skunk to whatever else, at least the ones he gave me around 2005. Nature of the unstable random cross that made ECSD.
But all the other cuts of ECSD I've tried in the last 10+ years since losing the real deal in 2007 have been bunk, including that AJ cut, chaco's, etc. They all just seem like phenos of Rez's work. Some better than others, but definitely not a single one the real deal so far. The smell and taste of real ECSD is unmistakable.
That Albany I've not seen before, but bud structure, calyxes, etc. all look very close. Can anyone confirm if it gets pinkish pistils when grown healthily, around week 7-8? Not purple NL-type ones, but pinkish hue before they brown. And they should leaf curl with the trichs.
Pardon just the little lower bud shot, I'll dig for a real cola pic sometime... Edit... included a leaf profile I had taken also (veg, gets thinner in flower of course, but common to just have 5 fingers), and an old cola shot from SunSim
