Trying to work this issue out ! I don't think I need RO but I may would invest down the road. Saving for a co2 ppm controller first.

there only 200 buks
In the FB group Im in my buddy just offered me his with one grow in it for 75 bucks, 24gal a day it says by buckeye hydro.

check the roots for pythium
Roots look white but I think my rockwool was staying pretty wet cause there was a small amount of water that does not drain all the way on one end. I added more hydroton for the cubes to sit on and raise them out of the water. Also I just bought some Dutch master zone 1 to help out and it should be here tomorrow. What do you use to control Pythium ?

Ive been using bleach, which actually works well. I have some zone on its way for more long term solution. Thats all Ive found to work. Pythium is some nasty shit, very resilient.

Ive been considering one, I think my water is part of my problem. They are just so much and Im not sure it would fix my problem.
do like i do. 5 gal jugs from walmart. 37cents/gal for RO. if you don't use much a week, it's a cheap option. then you can eliminate water as a possible problem

thats good advice but I dont feel like making that trip and lugging that much water lol. I started running a dead rez with bleach and Ive been having great results. Im going to switch to DM zone as soon as it gets here, mostly because its actually made for plants. Im tired of playing sherlock holmes, wherever its coming from, its dead now.

2 hours from Walmart. I got my ro system going but it's only 24 GPD. Slow but getting it done, ppm is at 4 on it when it comes out.

How is it hooked up in your house ? You running a splitter anywhere ? We have a fancy faucet so can't screw into it. I'm I'm the mountains and winter is coming, want to stop using the hose.

So I have my ro water in my veg res, 10 gallon instead of 20 like I've had. Ro is slow lol. Plants are looking better I just have 100ppm of cal mag added.

When I add my nutes how many ppm on top of the 100 cal mag ? 200 ? Stay around 300 for veg ?
