Cleaning Scale out of your system

I'm sure this has been talked about a million times, but what to do you all use to clean scale/mineral build up/organic matter out of your systems? Any good DIY solutions?
I typically use a mix of 85% Phosphoric acid, citric acid and 20% vinegar.
It works alright, but still so so much scrubbing, I thought I'd see what you all do, maybe there's a more effective way

lol for some reason i was always worried about burning the crap out of myself with this but now im realizing at this point i already burn myself pretty much every time anyways

Citric acid and water. Cheap and very effective

I 2nd BK, I actually use citric acid in my toilets now on limescale.

I use it for everything around the house and grow room. Flood tables come spotless in minutes with very little scrubbing involved, shower, sinks etc….

How much citric acid do you all put in water to get things spotless, and how long do you soak? Got a bag of it last year and i've never cleaned with it before.

For cleaning scale I use a heavy mix. No measuring just dump into warm water. Only needs to sit for a minute or 2 to break all the scale away.

Straight white vinegar works great as well.

ok so what im getting here is the problem i had was being way too timid with the amount of citric acid i used

I use RO water so never see scale except in the toilet and muriatic acid works good for that. Try not to breathe the fumes tho.
