Cleanning my bubbler

I have a bubbler that is all one piece anyone know of some home made ways to clean it. there is only three little whole it don't come apart and the holes are to small for me to go and get all the resin out? open to any ideas on how to clean itbongsmilie

I don't know what your bubbler looks like,but I cleaned my glass pipe with mineral oil before.The oil softens the resin and makes for really easy removal.You'd have to make damn sure you got every last bit of oil out before you smoked it,though, so you'd have to follow with some really hot water .:peace:

well the way ive always done it is to boil it with a layer of plastic or somthing in the bottom of the pot, and slowly heat the water from lukewarm (with the piece in the water) to roaring bubbles, until its clean, and you have to let it cool off afterwards in the water so it takes awhile

can't you q tips the holes are to small, its just a glass bowl with the part you smoke out of and the part you cover when you toke can't take it apart so i think i will try to boil it

The best thing I have ever had for cleaning rez is zep orange degreaser. It is a citrus oil based degreaser that is generic and cheap. It washes fairly clean in my experience and doesn't leave taste if you rinse thoroughly.

Within 24 hours even the dirtiest pipe is a breeze to clean.

ok do i soak it in it or what and what if i can't get into the inside to clean it out will the resin come out on its own

With the cleaner I specified you just pretty much soak and rinse. For the most part the average smoker could dirty his pipe for 6 months to a year and get it relatively clean with an overnight soak and a good rinse. A little elbow grease goes a long way. The most I do is rinse it out with as hot of water as possible then put it in a container that has orange degreaser in it. Like I put most of my bowl pieces and spare downstems in it so I can have almost a constant supply of clean glass. Which is hard to do in my home... We are all prop 215...

Put the pipe in a sandwich baggie. Then fill it halfway with isopropyl alcohol and let it soak for about an hour. Then add regular table salt (Enough to cover the pipe) and close the bag up and shake it vigorously for about 1 minute. Take the pipe out and rinse it clean. It should be spotless.

acetone or acetone I forget which one, but if you can bother looking them both up and figuring it out, My buddies cousin gets me this stuff in canisters once in a blue moon when I run out. I put it in my bongs, pipes and bubblers over night (about 8-10 hours) and it's stripped completely of any tar or resin.
Makes them look brand spanking new. Like I said, if you can figure out which one it is and get your hands on it, it's great victory.

I just fill my bubbler with hot salt water and shake it up inside. Rinse and repeat as many times as necessary. Shouldn't take long though.

That's the stuff that is the active ingredient in nail polish remover. Look that up.

Use 91% iso alcohol and the biggest grain salt you can get (ice cream salt or kosher for example)
Add some alcohol and salt and swish around, it will come out looking brand new
There is no comparison, it gives you the same results if not better than the stuff bought from head shops such as agent orange or formula 420

Now being that i'm 22 and an adventurous googler i found out that the information REGARDING Zep Citrus Degreaser/Cleaner IS DANGEROUS and some friends of mine would have never even thought to look up an MSDS but then again i work with chemicals all day and I KNOW what an MSDS SAFETY SHEET IS!!!! they would have just listened to this guy who cares nothing about his health and use this cheap method. if you are really into cheapness use ISO Alcohol and Salt. otherwise READ BELOW
