i'm impressed by what mechanization has done to increase harvests.

you still never answered me. do you think that the human activities that have caused CO2 levels to skyrocket to 400 PPM are responsible for the sudden increase of 1.5 degrees in a mere century?

But Buck,
Your CO2 calcs from >10k years ago are full of errors, due to dissipation of CO2 in ice.
So you can't say the levels now are highest in 800k years. Your two ice cores, from which you are basing that on, are not accurate at all for any window of measurement of less than 100 years (at best), and even then you only have an average. What's peculiar is that CO2 has a different (i.e. higher) rate of diffusion from, say, noble gases in ice, which makes the issue more confusing. After 60k yrs, the diffusion will have caused an original "10 year window" to be smoothed out so it is only half of the original value. So, go look at all those old peaks, and double them, at least (it gets worse the farther in the record one goes). Then compare...

Sorry, brother, but the evidence is not in your favour with that claim, on the surface.
And don't forget, the "consensus" also believed in a geocentric universe, phlogiston, the "ether", and--up until yesterday--electrically-neutral "iceball" comets.

the geocentric earth was a concept of the religious and was disproven by science.

The 15% is based on calculations discounting other factors. You grow weed, right? Does increased CO2 availability and warmth increase yields?? Or are you a denier? Man certainly has an affect on his environment...but no, they are not the cause of either the 1.5 nor the 400ppm. And their affect on both, negligible. Again .0004 x .05=.00002 or if you like:
400ppm x .05 = 20ppm. Is it because much of the world's hungry have darker skin, that you choose to side with the hysterical?

so you don't think it has anything to do with taking millions of years of sequestered CO2 out of the ground and putting it into the air over the course of a century or so?
