@JealousLeaf Great stuff my friend. As an update I painfully came around. It's not easy tossing 66 cuttings but denial isn't going to make them healthy. Grrr lol.
As an update I'm trying to follow thru on everyones advise. I appreciate their input. I tossed the cuttings, soaked everything in bleach water and then scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed some more. Then I let everything sit for three days to dry like @Coloradoclear mentioned. Additionally I believe the the lid simply wasn't light proof enough even with several coats of Krylon paint. When held up against a light bulb you can see a ton of light penetration and if the lid allowed fungus growth, I cannot help but think that it wasn't light proof enough. Nearly every cloner on the market is completely black. I read in another thread (yes @athomegrowing I do try and read as well! Hehe) -- and I read that someone else had great success with Plastic Dip spray. I put several coats on the top of the lid and wow! It is the best stuff ever. It is a thick rubber spray that when dry gives you a nice rubber surface. Not only is the lid 100% light proof now but it also added some thickness to the 2" holes to help keep light out and the surface should be much easier to keep clean now that it is rubber. Will take my cuttings today since it's been more than 72 hours from my time cleaning everything. Will keep everyone posted.
