Clone different from mother plant?

I have a strain that was from a mids bagseed grow, I took several clones off my female all of which were the same. Kicker is just one of the clones after rooting and planting started to go purple? only one clone did this. the whole plant grew with a purplesh tint and the buds where purple and green similar to gdp. The buds off the purple plant after harvest reeked like skunk but the rest was more of a mild smell.. im at a loss simply because id never heard or had this happen before. im sick because i got one seed off my purple plant and after germing and inserting into rockwool I made a rookie mistake and broke the root tip. But has anyone ever had anything similar to this happen before?

So youre saying you flowered all of the clones out you took from the bagseed, and only one turned purple? Or the seed plant you took the clones off of was the purpley one? Didnt quite understand. Anyhow,if you did flower all the clones out you took from the same plant, and one was totally different..that would be an anomaly.

I mean there can be some variation in size and smell depending on growing conditions and whatnot, but genetically they should all be a replica of the mother and exhibit similar traits if not exactly (especially if grown together).

Herad of similar before. personally I've had clones off the some mom come out a little dferent before like suddenly their sativa genes got shut off and they reverted back to a pure indica. I guess it happens sometimes with stress during the cloning process.

I took four clones off the mother all clones where grown outdoors two of them were grown somewhere else, one of those two clones was all purple, none of the other plants had purple at all including the mother.
