Well im starting an SoG grow shortyl Just getting the last of my supplies but am having a hard time figuring out pot sizes...If i start flowering right when clones take root could i use solo cups all through flowering or would i need something slightly bigger? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I stopped doing zero veg clones becuz the growth was so uneven when flowered right after taking root. I put them in 24 oz cups(1 lt pots are good too) and veg for 1 week before switching to 12/12. The week of veg allows the clones to get well established. When I did zero Veg some would grow to 12-16 inches and some would grow 3-5 inches. When vegged for at least week they all grow at pretty consistant heights, around 12-16 in. I would recommend maybe a little bigger than 16 oz. cups, but they should do. I chose the 24 oz becuz the were the biggest plastic cups I could find at the grocery store. I have 6 in 24 oz. cups, 3 weeks flowering now and the roots still have alot of soil space to fill

i just found square pots. they are probably 4 inches wide. if you can find those it would be better. You fit more dirt in a smaller space. with them i can do 5-6 plant cycles at 3 weeks apartfor a perpetual harvest under a meager 250watt hps
